We curate conscious events in Atlanta + Beyond

Below are a few examples of events that I’ve helped facilitate:

Tea-Inspired Cocktails + Bites for Herbs & Kettles

Location: The Lola

Herbs & Kettles hired me to help plan their tea-inspired cocktails + bites event. I found the venue and booked the location, hired the talent to help execute it, and created the graphics for promoting the event. I helped with registration to give them the space to connect with their guests. I spearheaded the communication for the planning and interactions with the guests before and after the event. I secured sponsorships for liquor and fostered great future partnerships for Herbs & Kettles!

“The skillset and resourcefulness that Jess provides is beyond comparison. She is well-connected in the community and is able to combine her resources to make the event a success. She is fabulous and conscientious and goes above and beyond to make every event that she plans perfect.

Release Reset Restart Wellness Retreat with Jess Be Inspired + The InBody Journey

I planned and co-hosted in 2022 + 2023 a 4 day retreat in the mountains of Georgia. As the retreat planner I scouted and booked the venue. I created all graphics and marketing materials for the three of us to utilize. I created google documents for all planning and budgeting. I facilitated the communication with the other two teachers and all of the retreat attendees. As a co-host of the retreat I offered yoga sessions and nature walks. I held space for the other teachers to share their offerings and created a hospitable experience for everyone who attended.

As the event director for Dirty South Yoga Fest in 2023, title sponsored by lululemon, my focus was to support the owner of the festival’s needs and help mitigate any obstacles on her plate for putting on such a big event. My main role was building relationships with the sponsors and communicating with the 70 teachers. During the 6 months of planning I worked closely to the founder Jess Murphy Trachtenberg on all aspects of the event from start to finish. Jessica also was in a new role at her full time job and I provided positive energy when and where needed. Throughout the weekend I dedicated my time and attention to the attendees’ experience while continuing to foster the relationships with the sponsors, vendors and teachers.
